Why Lash Artists & Clients Love It
Prolong Lash™ Cleanser was developed in direct response to a common problem: clients returning after 1–3 weeks with clumped lashes, premature lash loss, and inhibited natural lash growth — all caused by inadequate cleansing.
Prolong Lash™ eliminates protein build-up, debris, makeup residue, and dead skin cells from the lash base, extending the life of eyelash extensions and protecting the health of the natural lash. Regular use prevents clumping of bonded extensions — a critical issue, as clumped lashes restrict the natural lash growth cycle and increase the risk of follicle infection.
For Lash Artists
Prolong Lash Concentrate is ideal for retail resale in your salon. One 100ml bottle makes approximately 300ml of ready-to-use foaming cleanser, making it excellent value for client take-home kits. Recommend twice-daily use to your clients for maximum retention results.
How to Use
Use Prolong Lash Cleanser on the entire face twice daily to remove makeup and cleanse lashes, keeping them free from oil and build-up.
How to Make Your Own Foaming Cleanser from the Concentrate
Mix 1 part concentrate with 2 parts distilled water in a foaming pump bottle. We recommend following this dilution ratio to maintain product integrity and effectiveness.
Ingredients
Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Flower Water, Aqua (Water), Lauryl Betaine, Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Phenethyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium PCA, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract
FAQ
How often should clients use Prolong Lash Cleanser? Twice daily — morning and evening — on the full face and lashes. Consistent cleansing is the single most effective thing a client can do to extend the life of their eyelash extensions.
How do you make lash extensions last longer? The most important step is daily cleansing with a lash-safe, oil-free foaming cleanser like Prolong Lash. Beyond that, advise your clients to sleep on their back to reduce friction, avoid oil-based products around the eyes, brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie, avoid mascara, and never rub or tug at their lashes. Regular infills every 2–3 weeks will keep the set looking full as natural lashes shed.
Can clients use regular face wash on their lash extensions? No. Most face washes contain oils, surfactants, or ingredients that break down cyanoacrylate adhesive. Prolong Lash is specifically formulated to be safe for lash extension adhesive, pH balanced, and free from oils and harsh cleansing agents.
Is Prolong Lash safe for sensitive eyes? Yes. Prolong Lash has been ophthalmologically tested and approved for sensitive eyes and is safe for contact lens wearers.
Can clients use a mechanical lash curler with extensions? No. Mechanical curlers can crimp or break extensions. If a client wants more curl, recommend a curlier lash type (such as D or DD curl) at their next appointment.
How much ready-to-use cleanser does one bottle make? One 100ml concentrate bottle makes approximately 300ml of ready-to-use foaming cleanser when diluted at the recommended 1:2 ratio with distilled water.
